Blue Spring Peonies

I painted these peonies as a watercolor with gouache as part of a monochrome garden floral series. This is how I start my design process as of late. I will create a fully hand painted design and then proceed to digitize it in photoshop and recolor as needed. In this case I recolored the blue florals in softer blue tones following my palette below with a moss green ground for Spring apparel.
